Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to save and remove searches using the Tumblr application on the iPhone 6.

Steps

To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

Find the Tumblr icon, which is blue with a white "T" inside of it, and tap it once to open the application

It will automatically take us to the dashboard which is like the home page for Tumblr and is indicated by the house icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Tap on the magnifying glass icon, located at the bottom of the screen next to the house icon

Tap on the white search bar at the top of the screen to begin a search

As we can see, it brings up a list of saved searches.

To search for something, type in a search and tap on the blue "Search" button located in the bottom-right corner of the screen

In this example, we've searched for Elizabeth Taylor. We can see blogs and posts related to Elizabeth Taylor in the most recent to the oldest.

To save the Elizabeth Taylor search, we're going to tap on the symbol in the top-right corner

This brings up a new window where we can edit different things.

Scroll down and tap on the button next to "Save this search" to enable or disable the option

The button will highlight blue to indicate the option is enabled. We can tap it again to disable the option.

Tap outside of the window to close it and go back

Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner to go back

Tap on "Cancel" located in the top-right corner

Tap on the white search bar at the top of the screen

As we can see, "Elizabeth Taylor" has been added to our search list. The numbers to the right indicates the number of pictures there have been since we've last looked at the tag. 10 is the maximum that it shows, so it will only say "10+" at the most.

To remove a search, swipe that particular search to the left

Now, tap on the red "Unsave" button on the right side of the search title

It won't double check with us, and will delete right away.

Tap on "Cancel" located in the top-right corner

Tap on the application home button located in the bottom-left corner of the screen to go back to where we began
